Finally did it: I got my first tattoo!

I love tattoos. But being so scared of needles I much prefer to admire other people’s tattoos… until today that is.  JAG and I have been meaning to get a tattoo together, he already has 3 and always wanted me to get one saying: “it does not hurt, or just a little bit”.  Well trust me:  it DOES hurt! Probably not as much as I thought but it still hurts and eventually I will probably go ahead and get another few but as long as they are small such as 30 minutes max of being tattooed is all I could handle.  I just can’t see my self having to put up with hours of that kind of pain but you never know…

While Chris took hours to find the Chinese symbols for “younger brother & older brother” to then chicken out haha, I got my name tattooed and JAG got a tattoo of his name in Italian.

I had never seen it done before and I went first because I knew I was getting myself all worked up and just wanted this to be over and done with. Watching JAG get his, actually looked painless.

Hi, I had the pain twice, I had mine removed and it was like a rubber band being ‘pinged’ at my skin, about as painful as the tattoo! I am glad you said ‘yes it does hurt’. People who do tattoo removal say ‘its not painful’ but — yes it is!
I love your tattoo, especially the colours, and it is not going to cause you problems at work. I had ‘my legs’ tattooed, a butterfly, and I loved it. Then at the age of 32, I got a better job in a legal firm in ‘The City’ (London) and had to go to court and things in a pencil skirt. They seemed to glare at my tattoo, and so I had it removed, and am posting on blogs as tattoo removal. I don’t know if I was silly to have my legs tattooed, or silly to have them removed because I thought they did not look right for my new (well paid) job.
The company that removed them thought they looked so good they put them on their website! I won’t put a link as it might look like I am spamming

I appreciate your creativity to tatoo your skin, but I think It has high risk with its needle. Needle must be sterile, dirty needle may deliver virus to your skin, please be careful.

Looks great! I have 3 and yes, they do hurt. According to most, the upper back/shoulder is less painful than many other areas. So, just imagine….it could have been worse. But alas, we soon forget the pain and start thinking about our 2nd one. They are so addictive….

That is what everybody is saying: tattoos are addictive. If it was not for the pain, I would be back there in no time. Maybe it is best that I can feel pain lol
